As Contracts Manager, reporting to the Senior Contracts Manager, you will take responsibility for the successful delivery of a wide variety of commercial and industrial roofing and building envelope packages — including flat roofing systems, metal roofing, composite cladding, rainscreen cladding, overcladding, roof refurbishment & replacement schemes — and associated external envelope works across occupied buildings and live construction sites.
Key responsibilities:
- Managing site managers, supervisors, subcontractors and directly employed team
- Managing multiple live roofing and cladding projects simultaneously
- Planning programmes and coordinating project delivery from start to completion
- Monitoring project costs, budgets and commercial performance
- Ensuring all projects comply with health and safety legislation and company procedures
- Liaising with clients, consultants, suppliers and subcontractors
- Managing procurement and coordinating materials to meet programme requirements
- Identifying and resolving operational and technical issues
- Carrying out regular site inspections and progress meetings
- Maintaining high standards of workmanship and quality throughout each project
